New clip for Prudence Rees-Lee‘s latest track, ‘Paradise’ taken from her stunning debut full length Court Music From The Planet Of Love.
Clip is pretty captivating if I don’t say so myself. Some killer painted on stop motion animation, that really suits Pru‘s baroque take on pop music.
yikes. so this is kinda bumper. Like proper bumper. At 1hr and 17mins, it’s got everything you need to get nostalgic about the month just gone…or perhaps everything you need to play catch up on the month that’s just gone. Either way, it’s a solid mix.
And as a quick aside, turns out soundcloud only lets you upload 2hours worth of stuff until you have to start paying. So it’s back to the ugly wordpress player for this month.

Woah. This track has been sitting in the back of my head for a fair while now. And although my knowledge of the sound is really pretty limited, it reminds me of some of the soundtracks to some of the ‘Ozploitation’ movies from the 70s as made famous in the 2008 feature film, Not Quite Hollywood.
The track is from Prudence Rees-Lee (one half of Melbourne duo Hammocks and Honey). The track, ‘Emmanuelle’ is taken of the Prudence’s debut album, Court Music From The Planet of Love which is due out April next year through Special Award Records.
You can stream/download the track below. It’s pretty freakin great.
