[EDIT 1/11/2016] As of November 2016, Maamf has finished up. The October 2016 tape is the last tape to be published on the site. Feel free to peruse through the site, but know that we don’t take any more submissions.

For more details as to the reasons as to why maamf is hanging up the boots, you can have a read here

[Read the below in past tense yeah?]

Me, And All My Friends is an Australian music blog.

Maamf (as it’s more commonly known) has been a few things over the years. It started out out as a personal blog as a way to document me, and my friends lives. After a couple of posts about new music, I decided to focus it exclusively on music. Although I’ve always been pretty keen on local stuff, the blog only took the Australian music blog edge in late 2011. From July 2015, the decision was made to make maamf a mixtape only site, still focussed on Australian music, complete with personal/fictionalised/reflective accompanying writings.

History lesson aside, the gist of maamf is pretty simple – if it’s Australian and it stands out, then it’ll most likely appear on maamf. That’s it. Plain and simple.

If you’re keen to help maamf out in other ways, you can donate too. I never started maamf to make money – I do this for the love of finding me fave Australian music each month, compiling it into a cool list and letting all you excellent people have a listen and fall in love with a coupla new artists. I get so much out of doing these lists and seeing all you respond. It’s real cool.

Doing this does take a coupla days a month though, a coupla days I lose out on doing other paid gigs. So, if you love maamf, please continue reading and clicking play and following all those new artists. If I can help you find a new fave, then that’s exactly what I do this thing for. If, you’d also like to help out in a cash way though, I’m good with that. You can do so via my paypal.me account.

If for whatever reason, you don’t want to be included on the site but would still like me to work with you in a more traditional publicity capacity, you can check out DONE Music Publicity over here.
