schizophrenic age
Th.e n.d has one of the most difficult names to write…and to say in music. I don’t know how you would pronounce this guys name, but hey, this is a written medium. The dude is from Berlin and creates this piano heavy jazzy chill stuff. Think classic Thievery Corporation, stuff like that. Bit of an AIR feel in some of the tracks too.
I got sent not much info on this dude, but after a bit of trawling (his MySpace was pretty difficult to find!), I found out some. His MySpace lists him as Ambient/Electroacoustic/Experimental. I like Electroacoustic. Great genre name, and it also fits Th.e n.d pretty darn well. You can get his EP Schizophrenic Birth via his netlabel Acustronica, and although it’s only a three track EP, they all have this feeling of being classics about them. Anyway, it’s really difficult to pick a fave out of the three, but i’d have to go with the middle track Brahmans Son.
