Friendly all round.
Friendly Fires produced a pretty good album last year. There were some great great tracks on there – stuff like Jump In The Pool, Skeleton Boy and Paris were massif.
They’ve had some stuff remixed and they’ve done some pretty decent remixes themselves. One that’s going a little balistic lately is a remix of Phoenix‘s Fences. Fences is awesome already. In fact, that whole bloody album is awesome. But yeah, this changes it, makes it 90′s house with a killer piano line, and just makes it funk.y.

Another track I’ve come across lately is a cover of Lykke Li‘s I’m Good I’m Gone done by the Friendly Fires boys. Great great cover. Makes it just that little bit clubbier and kills it.

You can check out Friendly Fires’s self titled debut out on iTunes, or for those of you in Australia, you can check it out at JB Hifi.
K. That’ll do the ramble for now.

I appreciate what you do here, but, the Friendly Fires remix of the Phoenix track is in no way House. HelloooOOo!
