I got a few questions to ask you guys!
If you were reading a great album review, what are some of the things that stand out?
I bought two albums last night – It’s Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and Rules by The Whitest Boy Alive and want to put up a new post with a review of each. They’re both pretty cool albums. But yeah…
A few ideas I had were:
- A track by track analysis
- An overall look at the album
- and…ok…I’m stuck for any new one’s.
I like the feel of this. But then I also like the feel of those celebrity iMix’s you find on iTunes (I would provide a link but I can’t get the iTunes store working as I’m at uni.)
Anyway, let me know eh? Or else I’ll come to your place and ruin it…you know…mess up your bedspread or something like that. Hardcore I know.
K. That’ll do the ramble for now.

Comment by meandallmyfriends March 31, 2009 @ 10:22 PMNo problems mate. Good blog you got going there. I’m still trying to get my head around this one!
In all honesty, I prefer to do short reviews, maybe focus on a couple of tracks and normally post those as accompaniment. though long reviews, can be really good, if I get really enthused about something, I tend to write more. Check out blogs like ‘Pretty Much Amazing’, the reviews there are always good.
